Humberto Faria kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Gonçalo Gueifão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Garcia having to interfere. Jaime Assunção charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. A wasted opportunity for Lapa. 88 minutes into the game, one of Lapa:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 91 minutes, Ormal FC's Alberto Barros got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Cândido Henriques. Afonso Cruz succeeded in the game's 96th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ormal FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
