Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) When Heitor Antunes fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bemposta FC's protests and gave Heitor Antunes a yellow card for diving instead. Heitor Antunes hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Rui Teixeira took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 4th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pedro Teixeira. Bemposta FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Eusébio Fernandes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sela FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eusébio Fernandes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Teixeira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rafael Baptista charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rafael Baptista the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rafael Baptista hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ricardo Amaral during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bemposta FC's Ricardo Amaral got a free kick in the 14th minute. Eusébio Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the match, Sela FC's Rafael Baptista sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Teixeira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 28th minute Augusto Mota shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Pereira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafael Baptista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Sela FC booed when Bemposta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Delgado didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heitor Antunes in the 38th minute of play forced Sela FC's goalkeeper Eduardo Pereira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eduardo Pereira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amílcar Anjos in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st minute Augusto Mota shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Pereira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Eusébio Fernandes came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Sela FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eusébio Fernandes couldn't finish the play. 44 minutes into the match, Bemposta FC's goalkeeper Pedro Teixeira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafael Baptista. Pedro Teixeira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eusébio Fernandes's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Rodrigo Nunes kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Amílcar Anjos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Augusto Mota's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eduardo Pereira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Amílcar Anjos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Eduardo Pereira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Augusto Mota struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Eduardo Pereira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bemposta FC. The supporters of Bemposta FC booed when Sela FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Pacheco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bemposta FC's Pedro Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio Fernandes in the 72nd minute of play. 75 minutes into the game, Domingos Vaz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bemposta FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sela FC the free kick. The audience held their breath when Eduardo Pacheco in the 77th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Pedro Teixeira's left hand side. Sela FC's Adelino Figueiredo pulled a muscle in his leg after 77 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 78 minutes, António Maia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bemposta FC and the Sela FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pedro Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Baptista in the 80th minute of play. When Rafael Baptista came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Sela FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafael Baptista couldn't finish the play. After 84 played minutes Sela FC got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Pacheco. Augusto Mota struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Eduardo Pereira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bemposta FC. After some careless play in the Bemposta FC defense, Rafael Baptista kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Teixeira. The Bemposta FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Teixeira should have stopped the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Bemposta FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sela FC.
