Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Augusto Mota started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Cláudio Reis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Pedro Teixeira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cláudio Reis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 10 minutes into the game, Heitor Antunes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bemposta FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Formal the free kick. Cristóvão Jesus, 20 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Cláudio Reis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Pedro Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When SC Formal's Cláudio Reis in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bemposta FC's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Mota in the 29th minute of play forced SC Formal's goalkeeper Vasco Melo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Bemposta FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Gustavo Delgado hit a great ball. Pedro Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cláudio Reis in the 36th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Bemposta FC's zone, Cláudio Reis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Teixeira came out of the goal and Cláudio Reis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pedro Teixeira came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by SC Formal's Cláudio Reis. But to his dismay, Cláudio Reis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

After a defensive mix-up in Bemposta FC's zone, João Brito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Teixeira came out of the goal and João Brito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Augusto Mota got in the 54th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Vasco Melo handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Vasco Melo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amílcar Anjos, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After 60 played minutes SC Formal got a freekick which was hit by Albertino Trindade. Cláudio Reis struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Pedro Teixeira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Formal. Amílcar Anjos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cláudio Reis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Teixeira having to interfere. In the 77th minute Amílcar Anjos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vasco Melo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Augusto Mota received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Vasco Melo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Augusto Mota in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vasco Melo saved SC Formal from getting behind. In the 83rd minute Cláudio Reis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Augusto Mota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Amílcar Anjos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Mota in the 94th minute of play forced SC Formal's goalkeeper Vasco Melo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute Bemposta FC were awarded a corner. Domingos Vaz went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Bemposta FC's corner António Maia fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vasco Melo quite easily take care of the ball.
