Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Augusto Mota got the match started through his kick off. After 9 minutes, Fernando Ferreira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Cotimos and the Bemposta FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 9th minute, Fernando Ferreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Jacinto Matos fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Cotimos's protests and gave Jacinto Matos a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to SC Cotimos getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Jacinto Matos hit a great ball. In the 15th minute, Pedro Correia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Cotimos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. If Amílcar Anjos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Teixeira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vicente Marques's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. 25 minutes into the match, SC Cotimos's Vicente Marques sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Teixeira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 31st minute, Augusto Mota reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Artur Porto. The goal made the score 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexandre Delgado during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Bemposta FC booed when SC Cotimos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Delgado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bemposta FC's Domingos Vaz couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 36th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SC Cotimos. Pedro Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Teixeira having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vicente Marques was the one to do the kick off. If Vicente Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Augusto Mota struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Artur Porto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bemposta FC. 61 minutes into the match, Bemposta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Marques came free, but Pedro Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Augusto Mota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bemposta FC's Amílcar Anjos got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amílcar Anjos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Augusto Mota in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Artur Porto saved SC Cotimos from getting behind. A collision led to SC Cotimos getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Cristiano Vieira hit a great ball. Artur Porto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Mota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Vicente Marques put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Pedro Teixeira. In the 88th minute, Amílcar Anjos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedro Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Marques in the 95th minute of the match. Augusto Mota blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Artur Porto having to make a save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. SC Cotimos had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
