Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Fernando Gaspar kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sabroso's zone, Domingos Amorim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Nunes came out of the goal and Domingos Amorim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Domingos Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Manuel Nunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Bernardo Santarém fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sabroso's protests and gave Bernardo Santarém a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Sabroso's Bernardo Santarém got a free kick in the 12th minute. After 14 played minutes SC Lisbon got a freekick which was hit by Viriato Viana. After 16 minutes SC Lisbon's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jorge Viegas who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Sabroso's corner Jorge Viegas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Xavier Brito quite easily take care of the ball. 18 minutes into the match, SC Lisbon's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Gaspar came free, but Xavier Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Domingos Amorim might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manuel Nunes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Domingos Amorim ran back to his position shaking his head. 23 minutes into the match, Sabroso's goal looked a bit too open when Domingos Amorim came free, but Manuel Nunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Santarém in the 27th minute of play forced SC Lisbon's goalkeeper Xavier Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xavier Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Gaspar in the 29th minute of play. After 31 minutes, Viriato Viana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Lisbon and the Sabroso players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 31 played minutes SC Lisbon got a freekick which was hit by Viriato Viana. Sabroso's Jorge Viegas couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SC Lisbon. Xavier Brito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Gaspar, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 39 minutes into the game, Bernardo Santarém cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Xavier Brito was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Domingos Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Manuel Nunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Domingos Amorim stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 57 played minutes Sabroso got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Viegas. SC Lisbon's Jorge Vieira couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 58th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Sabroso. In the 62nd minute, Bernardo Santarém got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 64th minute by António Borba got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Fernando Gaspar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Viriato Viana was shown his second yellow card after 71 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Viriato Viana hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Xavier Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Gaspar in the 81st minute of the match. In the 83rd minute Afonso Aleixo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Nunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, Cristiano Jesus was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sabroso's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Lisbon the free kick. A collision led to Sabroso getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Cristiano Jesus hit a great ball. After 89 minutes, Bruno Delgado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Lisbon and the Sabroso players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 90th match minute, SC Lisbon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Delgado to maneuver through the defense. Xavier Brito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Gaspar, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sabroso had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
