Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Domingos Amorim started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Sebastião Anjos notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of SC Lisbon's Xavier Brito. Xavier Brito was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Domingos Amorim got free with Vicente Assunção in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Xavier Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Pinheiro in the 9th minute of play. Vicente Assunção showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingos Amorim, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 13 minutes into the game, Cristóvão Faro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Graciosa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Lisbon the free kick. Cristóvão Faro hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 16 minutes into the match, Graciosa's goal looked a bit too open when Domingos Amorim came free, but Vicente Assunção reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Pinheiro took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Xavier Brito. Xavier Brito dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After some careless play in the SC Lisbon defense, Sebastião Anjos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xavier Brito. The SC Lisbon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xavier Brito should have stopped the shot. Vicente Assunção took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingos Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xavier Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Pinheiro in the 34th minute of the match. Xavier Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Pinheiro in the 36th minute of play. Xavier Brito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastião Anjos, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Afonso Aleixo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Assunção having to interfere. Graciosa's Vicente Assunção played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingos Amorim in the 45th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sebastião Anjos to make the kick off. After 53 minutes, Miguel Amaral mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Lisbon and the Graciosa players grew even worse after the yellow card. Miguel Amaral hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Sebastião Anjos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Luís Pinheiro came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Graciosa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Pinheiro couldn't finish the play. In the 58th match minute, Graciosa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Resende to maneuver through the defense. 59 minutes into the match, Graciosa's goal looked a bit too open when Domingos Amorim came free, but Vicente Assunção reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonso Aleixo in the 64th minute of play forced Graciosa's goalkeeper Vicente Assunção to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SC Lisbon were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after Graciosa's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jorge Vieira took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Jorge Vieira got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vicente Assunção quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingos Amorim in the 68th minute of play forced Graciosa's goalkeeper Vicente Assunção to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Afonso Aleixo struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Vicente Assunção didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Lisbon. Through an outstanding action, after 74 minutes, Xavier Brito successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 77th minute Domingos Amorim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Assunção saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vicente Assunção made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Aleixo in the 79th minute of play. Afonso Aleixo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Sebastião Anjos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xavier Brito came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Graciosa's Luís Pinheiro. But to his dismay, Luís Pinheiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4.
