Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) José Tavares started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Vítor Faria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amílcar Pacheco in the 6th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Cacilhas's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Leão came free, but Vítor Faria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 8 minutes of play, Cacilhas's Alexandre Matias made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gil Machado was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vítor Faria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lúcio Baptista in the 13th minute of play. Lucas Sousa kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. SC Almonda's Gil Machado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Tavares in the 18th minute of play. Vítor Faria came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Almonda's Carlos Leão. But to his dismay, Carlos Leão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Lúcio Baptista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alexandre Matias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gil Machado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Carlos Leão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, SC Almonda's Carlos Aguiar got a free kick in the 40th minute. 45 minutes into the match, Alexandre Matias notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of SC Almonda's Gil Machado. Gil Machado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The wind increased when Lúcio Baptista made the kick off in the second half. Gil Machado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Tavares in the 55th minute of play. Alberto Delgado kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Fernando Pereira hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Carlos Leão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gil Machado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Tavares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 67 minutes, Alexandre Matias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cacilhas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexandre Matias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, SC Almonda's Basílio Tavares got a free kick in the 69th minute. Raul Bessa took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gil Machado. SC Almonda's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Lúcio Baptista kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. 73 minutes into the game, Alexandre Matias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cacilhas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Almonda the free kick. After 73 played minutes Cacilhas got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Matias. After having played for 79 minutes, José Tavares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cacilhas's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Tavares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Américo Azevedo hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After 83 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Almonda! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling José Tavares in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gil Machado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Basílio Tavares kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. In the 99th minute of the match Raul Bessa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gil Machado showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
