Adolfo Pedroso struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Miguel Freitas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Besoura. Alexandre Campos charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexandre Campos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alexandre Campos hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in SC Mesieiro's zone, Adolfo Pedroso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Freitas came out of the goal and Adolfo Pedroso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th minute Alexandre Campos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Pinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Duarte Pinheiro made a precise shot to the right of Jorge Pinho. SC Besoura's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Jorge Pinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandre Campos in the 46th minute of the match. Jorge Pinho made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Duarte Pinheiro sent off a good shot on target. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

After 55 played minutes SC Mesieiro got a freekick which was hit by Duarte Queirós. An unexpected shot in the 57th minute by Adolfo Pedroso got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Almeida in the 58th minute of play forced SC Mesieiro's goalkeeper Miguel Freitas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miguel Freitas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Almeida in the 62nd minute of the match. Daniel Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Freitas having to interfere. Daniel Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Miguel Freitas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexandre Campos hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the game, Afonso Matos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Mesieiro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Besoura the free kick. The supporters of SC Besoura booed when SC Mesieiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afonso Matos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 85 minutes, Adolfo Pedroso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Besoura's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adolfo Pedroso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Alexandre Campos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Duarte Pinheiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Mesieiro's supporters rose to their feet, but Duarte Pinheiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Pinho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alexandre Azevedo hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 96th match minute, SC Mesieiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duarte Pinheiro to maneuver through the defense. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
