Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Duarte Pacheco got the match started through his kick off. Devaqueira's Rui Resende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rui Queirós in the 6th minute of play. Bruno Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Resende having to interfere. After 13 minutes, Eduardo Machado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Casenho FC and the Devaqueira players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eduardo Machado hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Henrique Tavares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulo Assunção in the 17th minute. A collision led to Casenho FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Eduardo Machado hit a great ball. When Devaqueira's Duarte Pacheco in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Casenho FC's goalie prevented a goal. Casenho FC's Rui Queirós got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bruno Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Casenho FC's Bruno Almeida in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Devaqueira's goalie prevented a goal. Henrique Tavares was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Duarte Pacheco capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Duarte Pacheco really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 32nd minute, Rui Queirós ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rui Resende was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Rui Queirós recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bruno Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Rui Resende tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute Bruno Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Resende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46thth minute of the game Duarte Pacheco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Casenho FC's Henrique Tavares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rui Queirós stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jorge Morais kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Henrique Tavares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duarte Pacheco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rui Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Devaqueira fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when Devaqueira's Duarte Pacheco looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rui Queirós's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rui Resende read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. After 73 played minutes Devaqueira got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Morais. After some careless play in the Casenho FC defense, Paulo Assunção kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henrique Tavares. The Casenho FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henrique Tavares should have stopped the shot. Bruno Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Rui Resende tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Rui Queirós came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Casenho FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rui Queirós couldn't finish the play.
