Apartadura FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raul Barbosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Apartadura FC's Carlos Resende got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Duarte Antunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Borges in the 15th minute of the match. Eusébio Anjos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Resende in the 18th minute. Carlos Resende fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Anjos having to interfere. Raul Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Eusébio Anjos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Carlos Resende had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raul Barbosa in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eusébio Anjos saved Agilde FC from getting behind. The supporters of Apartadura FC booed when Agilde FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim Simões didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nuno Sousa took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 55th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eusébio Anjos. Agilde FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Filipe Jesus took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Duarte Antunes. Duarte Antunes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Luís Borges kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Duarte Antunes. That made the score 0-2 in the 64 minute of play. Agilde FC's Paulo Vaz got his second yellow card of the match in the 67th minute. The referee ordered Paulo Vaz off the ground. In the 82nd minute Nuno Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusébio Anjos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Agilde FC's zone, Raul Barbosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eusébio Anjos came out of the goal and Raul Barbosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlos Resende received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Eusébio Anjos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Raul Barbosa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eusébio Anjos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Agilde FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
