Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cláudio Moniz took the kick off in the first half of the match. Alberto Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inácio Rocha having to interfere. Carlos Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albertino Azevedo having to interfere. Carlos Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Américo Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Inácio Rocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Laracha FC booed when Ameijoafas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim Santarém didn't get a good kick on the ball. 1-0 became the score in the 31st minute when Américo Neves elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 35 minutes into the game, Lourenço Antunes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Laracha FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ameijoafas the free kick. After a rather tough play, Laracha FC's Lourenço Antunes got a free kick in the 35th minute. Carlos Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albertino Azevedo having to interfere. After 44 minutes of play, Laracha FC's Américo Neves made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Inácio Rocha was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Afonso Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 49 minutes, Américo Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Laracha FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Américo Neves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Afonso Torres stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Inácio Rocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso Torres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cláudio Moniz in the 59th minute of play forced Laracha FC's goalkeeper Albertino Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lourenço Antunes hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 63 minutes into the match, Laracha FC's goalkeeper Albertino Azevedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Marques. Joaquim Santarém was shown his second yellow card after 71 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Ameijoafas getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Joaquim Santarém hit a great ball. Américo Neves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79th minute Afonso Torres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inácio Rocha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Afonso Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Inácio Rocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Afonso Torres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Américo Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Laracha FC's zone, Carlos Marques stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albertino Azevedo came out of the goal and Carlos Marques tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Laracha FC had played much better football throughout.
