Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cláudio Moniz got the match started through his kick off. Pedro Sá kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Branco in the 7th minute of play forced Ameijoafas's goalkeeper Inácio Rocha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armando Simões took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Inácio Rocha. Ameijoafas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Carlos Marques might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emílio Neto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos Marques ran back to his position shaking his head. 14 minutes into the match, Ameijoafas's Cláudio Moniz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emílio Neto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 15 played minutes SC Sobreposta got a freekick which was hit by Heitor Matias. Amadeu Aguiar, 16 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Emílio Neto made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Carlos Marques sent off a good shot on target. Amadeu Pinheiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Inácio Rocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The SC Sobreposta fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when SC Sobreposta's Carlos Branco looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Amadeu Pinheiro struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Inácio Rocha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Sobreposta. Carlos Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emílio Neto having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Carlos Marques managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ameijoafas's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Marques was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emílio Neto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amadeu Pinheiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Sobreposta's Emílio Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cláudio Moniz in the 38th minute of play. João Brito kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Cláudio Moniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Branco was the one to do the kick off. Carlos Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Emílio Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Sobreposta's Heitor Matias got his second yellow card of the match in the 53rd minute. The referee ordered Heitor Matias off the ground. Heitor Matias kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Amadeu Pinheiro made a precise shot to the right of Inácio Rocha. Ameijoafas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Armando Simões hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Amadeu Aguiar missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 63 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Emílio Neto right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Carlos Marques managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ameijoafas's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Marques was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emílio Neto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 78th minute Carlos Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emílio Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sérgio Rodrigues's late challenge caught a Ameijoafas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sérgio Rodrigues helped the player get up and apologised. In the 80th minute, one of SC Sobreposta:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Sobreposta. Carlos Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Carlos Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 86th minute Cláudio Moniz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emílio Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, SC Sobreposta's goal looked a bit too open when Cláudio Moniz came free, but Emílio Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SC Sobreposta's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
