Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jorge Brás made the kick off which started today's match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jorge Brás in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastião Mota prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, André Pinho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cerradas's supporters rose to their feet, but André Pinho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eduardo Faro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. André Pinho struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Eduardo Faro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cerradas. In the 13th minute, André Pinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Enxomil getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Nuno Ferro hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Enxomil's Cristiano Guerreiro got a free kick in the 19th minute. After 20 played minutes, Cerradas's André Amaral shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eduardo Faro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cerradas reached it. Cerradas's André Pinho got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 27 minutes, Jorge Brás managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Enxomil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Brás was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If André Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Afonso Martins fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cerradas's protests and gave Afonso Martins a yellow card for diving instead. Afonso Martins hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Cândido Moniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Enxomil booed when Cerradas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afonso Martins didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sebastião Mota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Brás in the 44th minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
Pedro Anjos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Eduardo Faro made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Enxomil's Jorge Brás got a free kick in the 63rd minute. A hard shot 73 in the game by Pedro Anjos from a close distance when the talented Eduardo Faro managed to make a qualified save. Enxomil's players were relieved. 74 minutes into the game, Nuno Ferro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Enxomil's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cerradas the free kick. Enxomil's Nuno Ferro suffered a concussion after 79 minutes and had to leave the field. After 79 minutes of play Cerradas's Afonso Martins was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 81st minute, Afonso Martins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th match minute, Cerradas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fábio Borges to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Enxomil getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Jorge Brás hit a great ball. Cândido Moniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Pedro Anjos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Cerradas players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
