When the match had been going on for 7 minutes, SC Caldeira's Lucas Ferro got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Lourenço Gomes. If Rodrigo Ferro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 12 minutes into the match, Lisei's Francisco Soares sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Francisco Barbosa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lisei were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after SC Caldeira's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mariano Resende took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Francisco Soares got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Francisco Barbosa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Lourenço Gomes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delfim Freitas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lourenço Gomes made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Ricardo Gomes sent off a good shot on target. Delfim Freitas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Lourenço Gomes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Lourenço Gomes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Delfim Freitas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute, Rodrigo Ferro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Francisco Barbosa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When SC Caldeira's Delfim Freitas in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lisei's goalie prevented a goal. 1-2 became the score in the 39th minute when Rodrigo Ferro elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Rodrigo Ferro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Barbosa having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Francisco Soares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lisei's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Soares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francisco Barbosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Lisei booed when SC Caldeira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Ferro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ricardo Gomes in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lourenço Gomes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to SC Caldeira getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Luís Morais hit a great ball. If Rodrigo Ferro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 82 minutes, Francisco Soares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lisei's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Soares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lourenço Gomes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Gomes in the 86th minute of play. After a rather tough play, SC Caldeira's Lucas Ferro got a free kick in the 88th minute. Ricardo Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Lourenço Gomes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
