Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Américo Correia kicked off to start the match. Américo Correia took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquim Nascimento. Joaquim Nascimento dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After having played for 15 minutes, Pedro Araújo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leiria FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Araújo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adolfo Reis hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Daniel Baptista, 17 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Cândido Amaro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Júlio Lima when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Carragosa's Lourenço Santarém got a free kick in the 21st minute. 26 minutes into the match, Rafael Cabral notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Leiria FC's Joaquim Nascimento. Joaquim Nascimento was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Carragosa booed when Leiria FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusébio Gonçalves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joel Baptista charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joel Baptista the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd minute, one of Leiria FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Leiria FC. In the 35th minute there was a penalty for Carragosa. Joaquim Macedo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Joaquim Nascimento. 1-3. If Cândido Amaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Gil Coelho charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gil Coelho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 53 played minutes Carragosa got a freekick which was hit by Gil Coelho. Júlio Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Araújo, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Júlio Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Araújo in the 56th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Pedro Araújo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leiria FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Araújo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Júlio Lima breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Araújo in the 60th minute of play forced Carragosa's goalkeeper Júlio Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd match minute, Leiria FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrique Mota to maneuver through the defense. Rafael Cabral kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute. Though ot was a great shot Leiria FC's keeper Joaquim Nascimento was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. After a rather tough play, Leiria FC's Nuno Cabral got a free kick in the 64th minute. After 67 minutes of play Carragosa's Gil Coelho was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 68th minute, Gil Coelho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Cândido Amaro came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Leiria FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cândido Amaro couldn't finish the play. 76 minutes into the match, Leiria FC's Cândido Amaro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Júlio Lima narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Carragosa getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Américo Correia hit a great ball. Pedro Araújo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Júlio Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Cândido Amaro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Júlio Lima was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Rafael Cabral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Nascimento having to interfere. Leiria FC's Eusébio Gonçalves got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
