Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Paulo Pacheco was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 7 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute there was a penalty for SC Espinheiro. Ricardo Aleixo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Carlos Leão. 1-0. Carlos Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogério Morais in the 23rd minute of the match. Duarte Valente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Carlos Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Rogério Morais came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the SC Espinheiro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rogério Morais couldn't finish the play. Manuel Pinto's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Carlos Leão firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Resgais's goalkeeper Carlos Leão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rogério Morais was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogério Morais in the 53rd minute of play forced Resgais's goalkeeper Carlos Leão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rogério Morais took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Leão. Carlos Leão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Carlos Leão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duarte Valente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duarte Valente in the 70th minute of play. A collision led to Resgais getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Joaquim Baptista hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Duarte Valente sped through Resgais's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Carlos Leão. Thanks to some nice moves Tomás Esteves could shoot a difficult shot in the 78th minute, which Miguel Campos however easily saved by the left post. In the 79th match minute, SC Espinheiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Pinto to maneuver through the defense. António Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Miguel Campos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute Rogério Morais shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Leão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Duarte Valente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Carlos Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filipe Leal's late challenge caught a Resgais's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filipe Leal helped the player get up and apologised. In the 99th minute, Filipe Leal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SC Espinheiro's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
