After a rather tough play, Meidelo FC's Hugo Alves got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 10th minute, Meidelo FC's Domingos Costa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind David Aguiar. David Aguiar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Filipe Bessa was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 14th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Gaspar Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by António Magalhães during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. André Pinheiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of José Amorim's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. André Pinheiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adelino Campos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. José Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute, Adelino Campos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José Amorim made a kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Adelino Campos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Orelhudo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adelino Campos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. André Pinheiro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but José Amorim showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 56 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adelino Campos got free with André Pinheiro in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adelino Campos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but André Pinheiro made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Amorim in the 65th minute of play forced Meidelo FC's goalkeeper André Pinheiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Aguiar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Domingos Costa's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. When António Magalhães was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 68 minutes had been played. In the 69th minute, António Magalhães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Meidelo FC's zone, Adelino Campos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Pinheiro came out of the goal and Adelino Campos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 74th minute, Domingos Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 76 minutes of play, Meidelo FC's Gaspar Maia made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. David Aguiar was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 83rd minute Meidelo FC were awarded a corner. Filipe Bessa went to the cornerflag to take it. David Aguiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspar Maia in the 85th minute of play. André Pinheiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adelino Campos, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Adelino Campos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Orelhudo's supporters rose to their feet, but Adelino Campos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. André Pinheiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Meidelo FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Orelhudo for a fine match.
