Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Carlos Morais started the match with the kick off. Amadeu Melo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Óscar Veiga in the 3rd minute of the match. The supporters of Bencatel booed when Foupana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Araújo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute, Basílio Andrade sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Foupana's Alberto Pinheiro didn't even have to move. Carlos Morais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Bencatel's Amadeu Melo got control of the ball when Tomás Almeida tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Tomás Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amadeu Melo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 24th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Óscar Veiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Amadeu Melo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Foupana's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Morais came free, but Alberto Pinheiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bencatel were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Foupana's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Basílio Andrade took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Basílio Andrade got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alberto Pinheiro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Bencatel's Carlos Morais got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Foupana getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Abel Araújo hit a great ball. In the 45th minute, Carlos Morais ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alberto Pinheiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Óscar Veiga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Amadeu Melo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Almeida in the 57th minute of the match. Daniel Nascimento's late challenge caught a Foupana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Nascimento helped the player get up and apologised. In the 58th minute, Daniel Nascimento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute Eusébio Dantas suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Bencatel's Daniel Nascimento got his second yellow card of the match in the 59th minute. The referee ordered Daniel Nascimento off the ground. After a rather tough play, Bencatel's Daniel Nascimento got a free kick in the 61st minute. Tomás Almeida scored 2-1 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amadeu Melo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 67th minute, Bencatel's Joel Santos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alberto Pinheiro. Alberto Pinheiro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. After 70 played minutes Foupana got a freekick which was hit by Óscar Veiga. Fernando Borba's late challenge caught a Foupana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fernando Borba helped the player get up and apologised. Catarino Martins charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Catarino Martins the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 73 played minutes Foupana got a freekick which was hit by Catarino Martins. Joel Santos's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alberto Pinheiro firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 79 played minutes Foupana got a freekick which was hit by Óscar Veiga. Bencatel's Basílio Andrade couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 79th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Foupana. Amadeu Melo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Almeida in the 84th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Foupana's Rafael Carneiro got a free kick in the 86th minute. Amadeu Melo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amadeu Melo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Almeida in the 95th minute of play.
