If Tomás Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gabriel Faria stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Óscar Veiga's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Tomás Almeida had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gabriel Faria. Ouricosa FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomás Almeida was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. João Fernandes struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Alberto Pinheiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ouricosa FC. 28 minutes into the match, Foupana's goalkeeper Alberto Pinheiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by João Fernandes. In the 32nd minute Óscar Veiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Faria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Fernandes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ricardo Matias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Pinheiro having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Ouricosa FC's Ricardo Matias ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alberto Pinheiro. Alberto Pinheiro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Ricardo Matias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Pinheiro having to interfere. João Fernandes scored 2-1 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alberto Pinheiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Óscar Veiga made a kick off. Ricardo Matias scored 3-1 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alberto Pinheiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ricardo Matias might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alberto Pinheiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alexandre Borba was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 75th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Jorge Silva fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ouricosa FC's protests and gave Jorge Silva a yellow card for diving instead. After 77 played minutes Ouricosa FC got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Silva. Tomás Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Gabriel Faria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Óscar Veiga came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Foupana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Óscar Veiga couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Foupana's Catarino Martins got a free kick in the 86th minute. Óscar Veiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mário Ferreira during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mário Ferreira kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ouricosa FC had won after a very even match.
