Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cristóvão Moniz started the match with the kick off. Catarino Matias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Alexandre Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Sapataria FC booed when SC Gambelas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Faro didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to SC Gambelas getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Jaime Faro hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bento Miranda in the 9th minute of play forced SC Gambelas's goalkeeper Alexandre Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Inácio Luz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernando Amaro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Sandro Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Sapataria FC's Fernando Amaro got control of the ball when Inácio Luz tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the SC Gambelas defense, António Nascimento kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alexandre Brito. The SC Gambelas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alexandre Brito should have stopped the shot. Cristóvão Moniz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Amaro having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in SC Gambelas's zone, Bento Miranda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexandre Brito came out of the goal and Bento Miranda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alexandre Brito came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Sapataria FC's Bento Miranda. But to his dismay, Bento Miranda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Fernando Amaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristóvão Moniz in the 40th minute of the match. Fernando Amaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sérgio Pereira in the 42nd minute of play. 44 minutes into the game, Inácio Luz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Fernando Amaro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and António Nascimento made a kick off. SC Gambelas's Alexandre Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by António Nascimento in the 52nd minute of play. Alexandre Brito was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and António Nascimento capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. António Nascimento really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. Sapataria FC's Bento Miranda got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Bento Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bento Miranda got free with Alexandre Brito in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bento Miranda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alexandre Brito read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Inácio Luz might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fernando Amaro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Inácio Luz ran back to his position shaking his head. Cristóvão Moniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Inácio Luz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fernando Amaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristóvão Moniz, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Cristóvão Moniz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sapataria FC's Fernando Amaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inácio Luz in the 95th minute of play. Although SC Gambelas had been in control for most of the match, Sapataria FC still came away with the win.
