Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Abel Faria started the match with the kick off. If Rodrigo Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 8 minutes into the match, Rodrigo Pereira notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of SC Gambelas's Alexandre Brito. Alexandre Brito was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Cristóvão Moniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Gambelas's Inácio Luz got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alexandre Brito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Pereira, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. If José Faro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abel Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexandre Brito didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rodrigo Pereira went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Cláudio Rodrigues charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cláudio Rodrigues the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th minute, Cláudio Rodrigues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Inácio Luz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Abel Faria got in the 51st a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Alexandre Brito handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After 56 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Escariz! The referee gave SC Gambelas a penalty, 58 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Amadeu Teixeira, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SC Escariz's Afonso Lisboa. 1-2. Inácio Luz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Abel Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Brito having to interfere. In the 68thth minute of the game Abel Faria who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Gambelas's Alexandre Brito was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Cristóvão Moniz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Afonso Lisboa was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. SC Escariz's Afonso Lisboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristóvão Moniz in the 72nd minute of play. Alexandre Brito didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 74th minute, which inside left pole to 1-3. In the 83rd minute, Alexandre Borba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 85 minutes of play, SC Gambelas's Inácio Luz made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Afonso Lisboa was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee gave SC Escariz a penalty, 98 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Luís Trindade, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SC Gambelas's Alexandre Brito. 2-4.
