Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cláudio Pires took the kick off in the first half of the match. Pedro Vieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Pereira having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Pedro Vieira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cortegaca's Joel Cardoso suffered a concussion after 15 minutes and had to leave the field. Afonso Sá charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Afonso Sá the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th minute, Afonso Sá hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Pedro Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Afonso Sá hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Augusto Pereira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Vieira, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. When Pedro Cunha came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the SC Meijoadela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Cunha couldn't finish the play. Afonso Sá was shown his second yellow card after 24 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 24 played minutes SC Meijoadela got a freekick which was hit by Afonso Sá. Gonçalo Rodrigues kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Cortegaca's André Freitas tried to score from far away in the 27th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 29th play minutes Pedro Vieira shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Augusto Pereira and just under the crossbar into goal. 34 minutes into the game, Cláudio Pires was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cortegaca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Meijoadela the free kick. The supporters of SC Meijoadela booed when Cortegaca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cláudio Pires didn't get a good kick on the ball. 35 minutes into the match, SC Meijoadela's Afonso Barros broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 36 minutes, Duarte Azevedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cortegaca and the SC Meijoadela players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cortegaca's Duarte Azevedo got a free kick in the 36th minute. After 42 played minutes Cortegaca got a freekick which was hit by Duarte Azevedo. Augusto Pereira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Vieira in the 45th minute of play. If Pedro Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pedro Cunha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. SC Meijoadela's Pedro Cunha got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 62 played minutes Cortegaca got a freekick which was hit by Basílio Lima. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Albertino Santarém during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pedro Cunha struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Sebastião Costa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Meijoadela. When Pedro Vieira came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Cortegaca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Vieira couldn't finish the play. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by SC Meijoadela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. André Freitas was slow to take the kick. During this time Cortegaca's players had a chance to rest. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Pedro Vieira got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 1-3. 85 minutes into the match. Augusto Pereira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedro Vieira in the 89th minute. 93 minutes into the match, SC Meijoadela's goalkeeper Augusto Pereira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedro Vieira. When Pedro Vieira came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Cortegaca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Vieira couldn't finish the play.
