SC Setabul's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 22nd match minute, SC Setabul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inácio Faria to maneuver through the defense. 23 minutes into the match, Porca FC's Alexandre Amorim broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a rather tough play, SC Setabul's Inácio Faria got a free kick in the 24th minute. Vítor Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Porca FC booed when SC Setabul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Vaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the match, SC Setabul's goal looked a bit too open when Vítor Sousa came free, but António Soares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Vítor Assunção came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the SC Setabul fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vítor Assunção couldn't finish the play. Porca FC's Daniel Gueifão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Porca FC from getting a goal against them. After the first half Porca FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
53 minutes into the match, Vítor Sousa notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of SC Setabul's António Soares. António Soares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Diamantino Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Gueifão having to interfere. Vítor Assunção sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Setabul's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diamantino Carneiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carlos Aguiar hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After 71 played minutes, SC Setabul's Rui Moura shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Daniel Gueifão came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Setabul reached it. António Soares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Morais in the 73rd minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Porca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Diamantino Carneiro came free, but Daniel Gueifão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucas Moniz charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucas Moniz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Daniel Gueifão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Porca FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Jorge Morais hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vítor Assunção in the 94th minute of play forced Porca FC's goalkeeper Daniel Gueifão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Porca FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Porca FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
