Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Joaquim Silva made the kick off and thus started the match. After 4 minutes, Sandro Dantas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Almansor and the Torneiro players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 4 played minutes SC Almansor got a freekick which was hit by Sandro Dantas. Basílio Ferreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 9thth minute of the game Sandro Anjos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Almansor's Pedro Macedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Torneiro's Basílio Ferreira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Macedo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 13 minutes into the match, SC Almansor's goal looked a bit too open when Basílio Ferreira came free, but Pedro Macedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sandro Anjos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Pedro Macedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Joaquim Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Macedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basílio Ferreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jaime Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Almansor's Pedro Macedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandro Anjos in the 26th minute of play. Basílio Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Macedo having to interfere. After 40 played minutes Torneiro got a freekick which was hit by David Araújo. Joel Mota made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Jaime Vale sent off a good shot on target. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sandro Anjos made a kick off. A collision led to Torneiro getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Fernando Cunha hit a great ball. Joel Mota came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Almansor's Joaquim Silva. But to his dismay, Joaquim Silva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, SC Almansor's Sérgio Coimbra got a free kick in the 60th minute. David Costa was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 61st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Joaquim Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Almansor's supporters rose to their feet, but Joaquim Silva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joel Mota breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pedro Macedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandro Anjos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the match, Sandro Anjos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pedro Macedo, 1-1. When Basílio Ferreira came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Torneiro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basílio Ferreira couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Jaime Vale's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joel Mota was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. If Sandro Anjos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Macedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Basílio Ferreira in the 89th minute. Sandro Anjos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Pedro Macedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
