Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nuno Melo took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5thth minute of the game Carlos Santos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vitoria FC's Joaquim Pedroso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 6 minutes into the match, Luilhas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristóvão Delgado came free, but Diamantino Ferro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emílio Reis hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. João Viana might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Diamantino Ferro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. João Viana ran back to his position shaking his head. Diamantino Ferro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristóvão Delgado went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Viana in the 22nd minute of play forced Luilhas FC's goalkeeper Diamantino Ferro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 24 played minutes, Vitoria FC's Jacinto Reis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Diamantino Ferro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vitoria FC reached it. Cristóvão Delgado took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Diamantino Ferro. Diamantino Ferro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 32nd minute Nuno Melo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquim Pedroso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquim Pedroso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Melo in the 38th minute of play. Carlos Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Luilhas FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vitoria FC were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristóvão Delgado to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Vitoria FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Aguiar to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Ferreira's late challenge caught a Luilhas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Ferreira helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Vitoria FC's Pedro Ferreira got a free kick in the 56th minute. Luilhas FC's Nuno Melo got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristóvão Delgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diamantino Ferro having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Luilhas FC's goalkeeper Diamantino Ferro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by João Viana. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Nuno Melo put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Joaquim Pedroso. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Cristóvão Delgado took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Diamantino Ferro to make any attempt to save it. Cristóvão Delgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Diamantino Ferro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vitoria FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
