Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Armindo Cardoso kicked off to start the match. In the 5th minute António Amorim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Barbosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariquiteira FC's Fernando Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by António Amorim in the 7th minute of play. A collision led to Mariquiteira FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Hélder Figueiredo hit a great ball. Tiago Gueifão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Macedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute, SC Marmelar's António Amorim ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fernando Barbosa. Fernando Barbosa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 20 minutes into the game, Mariquiteira FC's Augusto Macedo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tiago Gueifão made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Filipe Simões received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Fernando Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernando Barbosa made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Filipe Simões sent off a good shot on target. Hélder Figueiredo hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. António Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Barbosa having to interfere. In the 38th minute Armindo Cardoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Gueifão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Augusto Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Macedo in the 46th minute of play forced SC Marmelar's goalkeeper Tiago Gueifão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the game, Mariquiteira FC's Armindo Cardoso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tiago Gueifão made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when António Amorim stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Armindo Cardoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Armindo Cardoso came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Mariquiteira FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armindo Cardoso couldn't finish the play. Gil Lopes kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Augusto Macedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Gueifão having to interfere. When Armindo Cardoso came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Mariquiteira FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armindo Cardoso couldn't finish the play. Augusto Macedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Gueifão having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Augusto Macedo notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of SC Marmelar's Tiago Gueifão. Tiago Gueifão was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 98th minute, Mariquiteira FC's Augusto Macedo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tiago Gueifão. Tiago Gueifão yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. The SC Marmelar fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mariquiteira FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
