Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Júlio Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duarte Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Rui Sá recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Júlio Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui Sá in the 11th minute of play. After 12 played minutes Almendra FC got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Gueifão. After 13 minutes, Fernando Gueifão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Almendra FC and the Mamotos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fernando Gueifão hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Duarte Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Almendra FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Emílio Moutinho hit a great ball. Júlio Queirós didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rui Sá went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Abel Anjos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Nascimento in the 23rd minute of the match. Duarte Torres blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Júlio Queirós having to make a save. The supporters of Mamotos FC booed when Almendra FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Amaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Mamotos FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Gil Monteiro hit a great ball. Rui Sá might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Júlio Queirós. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rui Sá ran back to his position shaking his head. Almendra FC's Júlio Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rui Sá in the 35th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 37th minute by Vicente Reis got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Tomás Nascimento kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Abel Anjos. That made the score 1-1 in the 39 minute of play. Vicente Reis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abel Anjos made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Vicente Reis sent off a good shot on target.

After a rather tough play, Mamotos FC's Lucas Faria got a free kick in the 56th minute. Almendra FC's Afonso Matos couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 57th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Mamotos FC. Mamotos FC's Abel Anjos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Nascimento in the 58th minute of play. When Almendra FC's Vicente Reis in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mamotos FC's goalie prevented a goal. Mamotos FC's Abel Anjos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Reis in the 64th minute of play. 66 minutes into the game, José Almeida was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mamotos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Almendra FC the free kick. José Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 66th minute of the match Afonso Matos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abel Anjos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Duarte Torres got free with Júlio Queirós in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 76th match minute, Almendra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Gueifão to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Almeida got free with Júlio Queirós in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Tomás Nascimento came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Almendra FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomás Nascimento couldn't finish the play. Júlio Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Sá in the 93rd minute of the match. Abel Anjos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Nascimento in the 97th minute of the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
