Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) When the match had been going on for 5 minutes, SC Padroso's Afonso Paiva got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Júlio Queirós. After some careless play in the Almendra FC defense, Alexandre Morais kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Júlio Queirós. The Almendra FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Júlio Queirós should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Almendra FC booed when SC Padroso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristiano Soares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Almendra FC's Vicente Reis got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Almendra FC booed when SC Padroso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artur Viegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 21 played minutes SC Padroso got a freekick which was hit by Artur Viegas. Alexandre Morais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júlio Queirós having to interfere. Tomás Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Gabriel Paredes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Vicente Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gabriel Paredes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Reis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emílio Moutinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Gabriel Paredes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabriel Paredes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Alexandre Morais might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Júlio Queirós. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alexandre Morais ran back to his position shaking his head. Vicente Reis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Júlio Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Soares in the 49th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristiano Soares stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alexandre Morais recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Morais in the 65th minute of play forced Almendra FC's goalkeeper Júlio Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute Tomás Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Paredes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vicente Reis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Paredes having to interfere. SC Padroso's Cristiano Soares got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vicente Reis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute, Vicente Reis fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Alexandre Morais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the match, Cristiano Soares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Júlio Queirós. Almendra FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristiano Soares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2.
