In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Badamalos FC's goalkeeper Jacinto Moutinho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jacinto Moutinho was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Afonso Gonçalves showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. David Gaspar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 29 minutes into the match, Reguengos's André Ramos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacinto Moutinho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Badamalos FC's Jacinto Moutinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso Gonçalves in the 44th minute of play. After 47 minutes of play, Badamalos FC's David Gaspar made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Afonso Antunes was left in no man's land by his defense there! The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emanuel Martins to make the kick off. Afonso Antunes didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 56th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. After 66 minutes, Paulo Dantas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Badamalos FC and the Reguengos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Paulo Dantas hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Domingos Macedo during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 90th match minute, Reguengos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingos Macedo to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute Emanuel Martins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonso Antunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
