Raul Santarém charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raul Santarém the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Raul Santarém kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. If Raul Santarém had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vicente Simões showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raul Santarém in the 19th minute of the match. Gabriel Brito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. José Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfredo Brás took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simão Coelho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Seda booed when SC Valado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simão Coelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute Simão Coelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Brás saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Raul Santarém managed to get in a good position for a shot. Seda's supporters rose to their feet, but Raul Santarém was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vicente Simões breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If José Abreu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Valado's goalkeeper Vicente Simões, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Simão Coelho was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes SC Valado got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Baptista. In the 53rd minute, Raul Santarém fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Vicente Simões, passed just outside the right post. Raul Santarém fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Simões having to interfere. Seda's Alfredo Brás played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simão Coelho in the 60th minute of play. SC Valado's Gabriel Brito got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Simão Coelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of SC Valado booed when Seda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albertino Campos didn't get a good kick on the ball. SC Valado's Simão Coelho got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vicente Simões made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raul Santarém in the 77th minute of play. In the 80th play minute José Abreu came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Vicente Simões. 0-1. Alfredo Brás showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simão Coelho in the 84th minute of the match. After 85 minutes of play Seda's Albertino Campos was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Seda's Albertino Campos got a free kick in the 86th minute. 87 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when SC Valado's Simão Coelho fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. José Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Seda walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
