Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jacinto Costa started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the SC Massadas defense, Diamantino Vaz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of André Cunha. The SC Massadas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that André Cunha should have stopped the shot. Jacinto Costa struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. André Cunha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Talhada FC. André Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diamantino Vaz in the 10th minute of the match. When Jacinto Costa fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Talhada FC's protests and gave Jacinto Costa a yellow card for diving instead. Jacinto Costa hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Rui Fontes managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Massadas's supporters rose to their feet, but Rui Fontes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Leão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 20th minute, SC Massadas's Manuel Andrade dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. In the 25th minute, Manuel Andrade got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tomás Pinto struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Jorge Leão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Massadas. When SC Massadas's Tomás Pinto in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 60thth minute of the game Manuel Andrade who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Talhada FC's Jorge Leão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 61st match minute, Talhada FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Lopes to maneuver through the defense. Henrique Pinheiro, 62 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Henrique Almeida's late challenge caught a Talhada FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henrique Almeida helped the player get up and apologised. Jorge Leão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomás Pinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Jorge Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Manuel Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Talhada FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SC Massadas.
