Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Carlos Paiva made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute, João Moutinho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Corgas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. João Moutinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Nuno Leite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulo Brás stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Paiva's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. A collision led to Corgas getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. João Morais hit a great ball. Paulo Brás made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Paiva in the 13th minute of play. Nuno Leite made an important save on a dangerous shot by João Moutinho in the 17th minute. João Moutinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Nuno Leite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nuno Paiva kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Nuno Paiva charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nuno Paiva the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Corgas's Nuno Paiva got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 25th match minute, Corgas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by António Leite to maneuver through the defense. Corgas's Nuno Paiva got his second yellow card of the match in the 27th minute. The referee ordered Nuno Paiva off the ground. In a very dangerous position, a player in Corgas fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 27th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Gafaria a penalty, 29 minutes into the game. João Morais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gil Machado hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Daniel Branco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 48 minutes into the match, Carlos Paiva notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Corgas's Paulo Brás. Paulo Brás was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Gafaria were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. João Moutinho was the one to do the kick off. When Daniel Branco came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Gafaria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Branco couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Branco could shoot a difficult shot in the 58th minute, which Paulo Brás however easily saved by the left post. Daniel Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Brás having to interfere. In the 78th minute Carlos Paiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Brás saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 79 played minutes Corgas got a freekick which was hit by António Leite. Paulo Ribeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
