Manuel Faro kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Simão Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Borges having to interfere. In the 33rd minute Delfim Veiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adelino Guerreiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adelino Guerreiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joaquim Barros in the 37th minute. Adelino Guerreiro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Delfim Veiga showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 39 minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, SC Arroio's goal looked a bit too open when Delfim Veiga came free, but Adelino Guerreiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rui Borges was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Simão Vale showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 54 minute of play. Paulo Anjos charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulo Anjos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, SC Arroio's Paulo Anjos got a free kick in the 57th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Barros in the 59th minute of play forced SC Arroio's goalkeeper Adelino Guerreiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 68 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bonjoia! The goalkeeper, Rui Borges, was totally fooled by SC Arroio's Delfim Maia, who 70 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 73rd minute Simão Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Borges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Barbosa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rui Borges read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Gabriel Vieira charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gabriel Vieira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gabriel Vieira hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Simão Vale's late challenge caught a Bonjoia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
