If Henrique Veiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The SC Candoso players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC Gaiteira were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hugo Santos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Hugo Santos came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the SC Candoso fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Santos couldn't finish the play. 58 minutes into the match, SC Candoso's Hugo Santos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gil Dias narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Henrique Veiga came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the SC Gaiteira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henrique Veiga couldn't finish the play. Gil Dias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Candoso. José Rodrigues blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gil Dias having to make a save. In the 90th minute, Henrique Veiga reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of António Freitas. The goal made the score 1-3. Hugo Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Dias having to interfere.
