After 23 played minutes Tomareis FC got a freekick which was hit by Gil Pinheiro. José Borba hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. If Filipe Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute, Gustavo Miranda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filipe Pereira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomareis FC's Gustavo Miranda got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and João Neto made a kick off. Eusébio Magalhães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Neto in the 52nd minute of play. A hard shot by Eusébio Esteves from long distance, 55 minutes into the match, got Diamantino Gueifão's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Manuel Paredes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Diamantino Gueifão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Manuel Paredes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Camaroes's Diamantino Gueifão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Miranda in the 62nd minute of play. When SC Camaroes's Filipe Pereira in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tomareis FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 76th match minute, Tomareis FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Miranda to maneuver through the defense. After 79 minutes Tomareis FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nuno Leite who took care of the corner kick. The corner led SC Camaroes's Nuno Leite to fire away a dangerous shot which Eusébio Magalhães despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Eusébio Magalhães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Neto, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After having played for 88 minutes, Filipe Pereira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Camaroes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filipe Pereira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Manuel Paredes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Diamantino Gueifão made a huge save. When João Neto came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the SC Camaroes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Neto couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filipe Pereira in the 96th minute of play forced Tomareis FC's goalkeeper Eusébio Magalhães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
