Bernardo Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Neto in the 8th minute of play. Diamantino Gueifão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Xavier Lima went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. João Neto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernardo Mota prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 44 minutes into the game, SC Benavila's Xavier Lima nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Diamantino Gueifão made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Paulo Assis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

SC Camaroes were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after SC Benavila's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nuno Leite took the corner. In the 55th minute João Neto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SC Benavila's Xavier Lima got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in SC Camaroes's zone, Xavier Lima stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diamantino Gueifão came out of the goal and Xavier Lima tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xavier Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Neto in the 68th minute of play forced SC Benavila's goalkeeper Bernardo Mota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filipe Pereira might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernardo Mota. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filipe Pereira ran back to his position shaking his head. Bernardo Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filipe Pereira in the 71st minute of play. Bernardo Mota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filipe Pereira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernardo Mota showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filipe Pereira, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, João Neto managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Camaroes's supporters rose to their feet, but João Neto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardo Mota breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Filipe Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Mota having to interfere. Carlos Delgado hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Paulo Assis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Benavila's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
