Daniel Lisboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Óscar Moura having to interfere. Luís Cunhas short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got Humberto Amaral to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Humberto Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Amaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After 22 played minutes, SC Porteirinhos's Cristiano Araújo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Óscar Moura came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Porteirinhos reached it. Óscar Moura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Lisboa in the 24th minute of play. A collision led to SC Porteirinhos getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Daniel Lisboa hit a great ball. Luís Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Humberto Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Lisboa in the 36th minute of play forced Rebolo FC's goalkeeper Óscar Moura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Lisboa in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Óscar Moura saved Rebolo FC from getting behind. 41 minutes into the game, SC Porteirinhos's Jorge Matos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Óscar Moura made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Lisboa to strike the kick off in the second half. Alberto Baptista kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After 57 played minutes, Rebolo FC's Ricardo Antunes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Humberto Amaral came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rebolo FC reached it. Rebolo FC's Raul Ferreira got his second yellow card of the match in the 63rd minute. The referee ordered Raul Ferreira off the ground. After 63 played minutes Rebolo FC got a freekick which was hit by Raul Ferreira. A hard shot 65 in the game by Jorge Matos from a close distance when the talented Óscar Moura managed to make a qualified save. Rebolo FC's players were relieved. Óscar Moura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Lisboa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the match, Rebolo FC's goalkeeper Óscar Moura had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorge Matos. SC Porteirinhos's Jorge Matos got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 77 minutes into the match, Luís Cunha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Humberto Amaral. SC Porteirinhos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luís Cunha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 81st match minute, Rebolo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Amaro to maneuver through the defense. João Gomes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Lisboa scored 1-2 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Óscar Moura, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. SC Porteirinhos's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
