Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Xavier Trindade got the match started through his kick off. A hard shot by Alexandre Cruz from long distance, 6 minutes into the match, got Luís Simões's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 7th minute, Filipe Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 8 minutes into the match, SC Codecaes's goalkeeper Luís Simões had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rui Dantas. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xavier Trindade in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck João Almeida prevented the ball from getting in the gole. João Almeida didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rui Melo went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xavier Trindade in the 15th minute of play forced Rapadoura FC's goalkeeper João Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute Xavier Trindade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 19 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Rapadoura FC! Afonso Leão placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Gustavo Pinto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29th minute Xavier Trindade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xavier Trindade in the 30th minute of play forced Rapadoura FC's goalkeeper João Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the match, SC Codecaes's Xavier Trindade sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that João Almeida narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cândido Leal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rui Dantas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 48 minutes into the game, Rapadoura FC's Cândido Leal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luís Simões made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rui Dantas to strike the kick off in the second half. Rui Melo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rui Melos short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got João Almeida to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Rui Dantas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 59 minutes, Vicente Matos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rapadoura FC and the SC Codecaes players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Rui Dantas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rapadoura FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rui Dantas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Simões breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 72 played minutes SC Codecaes got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Pinto. After 74 minutes of play, Rapadoura FC's Cândido Leal made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luís Simões was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luís Simões took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Dantas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rui Dantas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 82 minutes into the match, SC Codecaes's Rui Melo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that João Almeida narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Rapadoura FC's Amílcar Teixeira got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Codecaes's goalkeeper Luís Simões, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rui Melo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Rapadoura FC had played much better football throughout.
