Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jorge Mota kicked off to start the match. 9 minutes into the match, Muroes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Mota came free, but Rui Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Muroes FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 10th minute. Penalty! Sandro Moutinho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rui Mendes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Filipe Lima took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rui Mendes. Muroes FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 26th minute, Jorge Mota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute Jorge Mota shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Mendes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Muroes FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cristóvão Miranda was slow to take the kick. During this time SC Povoas's players had a chance to rest. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Sandro Moutinho managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Povoas's supporters rose to their feet, but Sandro Moutinho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rui Mendes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sandro Moutinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 41stth minute of the game Tomás Morais who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Povoas's Rui Tavares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Heitor Martins could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Rui Tavares made a huge save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Tomás Morais made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Muroes FC booed when SC Povoas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fábio Leão didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in SC Povoas's zone, Tomás Morais stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rui Tavares came out of the goal and Tomás Morais tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rui Tavares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heitor Martins in the 57th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Heitor Martins managed to get in a good position for a shot. Muroes FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Heitor Martins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rui Tavares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rui Tavares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heitor Martins in the 71st minute of play. After some careless play in the SC Povoas defense, Tomás Morais kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rui Tavares. The SC Povoas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rui Tavares should have stopped the shot. In the 79th minute Tomás Morais shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Tavares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Muroes FC's Rui Mendes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Mota in the 82nd minute of play. Sandro Moutinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Jorge Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rui Mendes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Mota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sandro Moutinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
