Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Eusébio Martins hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Muroes FC's Eusébio Martins got a free kick in the 7th minute. Muroes FC's Rui Mendes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Tavares in the 8th minute of play. Afonso Domingues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Rui Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Braciosas booed when Muroes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Heitor Martins didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rui Mendes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel Tavares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomás Morais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heitor Pacheco having to interfere. Muroes FC's Tomás Morais got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Muroes FC booed when Braciosas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Amaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Afonso Domingues blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rui Mendes having to make a save. Rui Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Tavares in the 37th minute of play. Abel Alves lost his temper 43 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Braciosas fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 42nd minute. Penalty! In the 46th minute there was a penalty for Muroes FC. Joaquim Neves stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Heitor Pacheco. 0-1. After the first half Muroes FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Afonso Domingues made a kick off. Braciosas's Afonso Domingues got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 56 played minutes Muroes FC got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Neves. 59 minutes into the match, Tomás Morais had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Heitor Pacheco. Braciosas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomás Morais was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 67 minutes of play, Braciosas's Catarino Soares made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rui Mendes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Heitor Pacheco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Morais, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. 77 minutes into the game, Braciosas's Afonso Domingues nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rui Mendes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. In the 81st minute, Carlos Nunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute of the match Muroes FC got a corner. Braciosas's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joaquim Neves ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, Braciosas's Hugo Amaro got a free kick in the 85th minute. The audience held their breath when Eusébio Martins in the 87th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Heitor Pacheco's left hand side. If Tomás Morais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 90thth minute of the game Tomás Morais who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Braciosas's Heitor Pacheco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
