Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Manuel Fernandes kicked off to start the match. In the 2nd minute, Pedro Machado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th match minute, Rebordello was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Fernandes to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Telhaes getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Paulo Dantas hit a great ball. After 15 played minutes Rebordello got a freekick which was hit by Lúcio Azevedo. Miguel Santarém showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Cabral in the 19th minute of the match. Lúcio Cardoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Miguel Santarém tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 21 played minutes Rebordello got a freekick which was hit by António Andrade. When Manuel Fernandes got free in front of the goal in the 33rd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Rui Abreu was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Artur Ramos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rebordello's supporters rose to their feet, but Artur Ramos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rui Abreu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Telhaes's Rui Abreu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Fernandes in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st minute Artur Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Abreu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute of the match André Cabral shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Miguel Santarém showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. António Andrade charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed António Andrade the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when André Cabral stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Miguel Santarém took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Dantas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute, Eusébio Garcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Telhaes's Rui Abreu got control of the ball when Artur Ramos tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Rebordello's Júlio Soares got a free kick in the 65th minute. Lúcio Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eusébio Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Santarém having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Rebordello's António Andrade got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Lúcio Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. André Cabral scored 2-0 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Miguel Santarém, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Telhaes had won after a very even match.
