Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Agra FC's Paulo Gueifão started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Agra FC's goalkeeper Filipe Lima, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rui Pacheco during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Agra FC's Paulo Gueifão got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mário Veiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Filipe Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Agra FC's zone, Mário Veiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filipe Lima came out of the goal and Mário Veiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Paulo Gueifão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. Filipe Lima was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 46th minute, Xavier Sá got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Agra FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC Azinhosa were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell André Santos to make the kick off.
