Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. David Nogueira started the match with the kick off. After having played for 4 minutes, David Nogueira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boeiro's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Nogueira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. João Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliveira Melo, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. David Nogueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Rodrigues having to interfere. Gaspar Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Costa having to interfere. Amadeu Viegas charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amadeu Viegas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Amadeu Viegas hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. When Palhas's Oliveira Melo in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Boeiro's goalie prevented a goal. Boeiro's João Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliveira Melo in the 18th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Palhas's goal looked a bit too open when Oliveira Magalhães came free, but Adolfo Rodrigues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amílcar Moura's late challenge caught a Boeiro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amílcar Moura helped the player get up and apologised. In the 26th match minute, Palhas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amílcar Moura to maneuver through the defense. 27 minutes into the match, Palhas's goal looked a bit too open when David Nogueira came free, but Adolfo Rodrigues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oliveira Melo during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 28th minute, Oliveira Melo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gaspar Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. João Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 33 played minutes Boeiro got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Pires. 43 minutes into the match, Boeiro's goalkeeper João Costa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaspar Branco. Joaquim Domingues hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oliveira Melo to strike the kick off in the second half. João Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaspar Branco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Boeiro getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Joaquim Domingues hit a great ball. After 57 minutes of play, Palhas's Oliveira Melo made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. João Costa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Afonso Sá received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Adolfo Rodrigues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaspar Branco struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. João Costa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palhas. In the 75th minute, Amílcar Moura got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Boeiro defense, Gaspar Branco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of João Costa. The Boeiro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that João Costa should have stopped the shot. João Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaspar Branco in the 81st minute of the match. João Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliveira Melo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oliveira Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Costa having to interfere. Gaspar Branco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joaquim Domingues hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. 89 minutes into the match, Oliveira Melo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of João Costa. Boeiro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oliveira Melo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Adolfo Rodrigues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Nogueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
