Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Lúcio Campos made the kick off which started today's match. Diamantino Alves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Costa having to interfere. Manuel Costa was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Rui Castro. When Afonso Araújo fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Bugarreos's protests and gave Afonso Araújo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Palmazes FC booed when SC Bugarreos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afonso Araújo didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, SC Bugarreos's Manuel Costa got control of the ball when Diamantino Alves tried to sneak it across the goal line. SC Bugarreos's Manuel Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lúcio Campos in the 17th minute of play. After having played for 18 minutes, Diamantino Alves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palmazes FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diamantino Alves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alexandre Luz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. André Moura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Palmazes FC's André Moura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simão Morais in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Lúcio Campos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Manuel Costa. The goal made the score 1-1. 31 minutes into the game, Paulo Fonseca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palmazes FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Bugarreos the free kick. In the 31st match minute, Palmazes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. SC Bugarreos's Alexandre Luz got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 41 minutes into the match, Palmazes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandre Luz came free, but André Moura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diamantino Alves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Manuel Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Manuel Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Paulo Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Manuel Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Afonso Araújo hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. 57 minutes into the game, Lúcio Campos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palmazes FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Bugarreos the free kick. After 57 played minutes Palmazes FC got a freekick which was hit by Lúcio Campos. In the 62nd minute Alexandre Luz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Moura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Simão Morais could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but André Moura made a huge save. If Simão Morais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Palmazes FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Lourenço Branco hit a great ball. When Paulo Fonseca was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 77 minutes had been played. Paulo Fonseca hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Alexandre Luz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Simão Morais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. André Moura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of SC Bugarreos booed when Palmazes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lourenço Branco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Simão Morais recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Palmazes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandre Luz came free, but André Moura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute, Diamantino Alves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 95th minute, SC Bugarreos's Alexandre Luz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind André Moura. André Moura yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. The Palmazes FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SC Bugarreos's performance. The match ended with a win for SC Bugarreos.
