Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Carlos Matias started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Afonso Paiva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nogueiros's supporters rose to their feet, but Afonso Paiva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Borba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nuno Sá in the 13thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Catarino Veiga, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 19 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Nogueiros! Manuel Borba stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rogério Matos's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. After 25 minutes of play, Nogueiros's Rogério Matos made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manuel Borba was left in no man's land by his defense there! Carlos Matias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Catarino Veiga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Afonso Paiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Manuel Borba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacinto Amaral's late challenge caught a SC Paradela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jacinto Amaral helped the player get up and apologised. Jacinto Amaral hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. A collision led to Nogueiros getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Rui Rodrigues hit a great ball. Nuno Sá came free with the goalkeeper in the 37th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Catarino Veiga could save by the left post. Manuel Borba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogério Matos, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Carlos Matias struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Catarino Veiga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Paradela. If Carlos Matias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rogério Matos was the one to do the kick off. Catarino Veiga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno Sá in the 52nd minute of the match. Catarino Veiga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Matias went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Nogueiros's goalkeeper Catarino Veiga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. During the 68th minute of the match Jacinto Amaral completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jacinto Amaral a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Jacinto Amaral hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After having played for 71 minutes, Nuno Sá managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Paradela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nuno Sá was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Afonso Paiva kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Manuel Borba. That made the score 1-2 in the 73 minute of play. Afonso Paiva struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Manuel Borba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nogueiros. After having played for 83 minutes, Nuno Sá managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Paradela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nuno Sá was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Rui Rodrigues fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nogueiros's protests and gave Rui Rodrigues a yellow card for diving instead. Rui Rodrigues hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Nogueiros's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
