Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Armando Coimbra made the kick off which started today's match. Jaime Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Coimbra in the 3rd minute of the match. Manuel Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Guarda having to interfere. The supporters of Landim FC booed when Forneiros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Guarda didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute of the match Landim FC got a corner. Forneiros FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mariano Brás ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Paulo Alves almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Forneiros FC's Eusébio Guarda did a great save. In the 14th match minute, Landim FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliveira Viegas to maneuver through the defense. Manuel Moura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Eusébio Guarda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 19 minutes, Manuel Moura managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Landim FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Moura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vicente Simões struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Eusébio Guarda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Landim FC. After a defensive mix-up in Landim FC's zone, Daniel Abreu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaime Neto came out of the goal and Daniel Abreu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 34th match minute, Forneiros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Abreu to maneuver through the defense. If Manuel Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Sousa in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eusébio Guarda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 40 minutes, Daniel Abreu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Forneiros FC and the Landim FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 40th match minute, Forneiros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Abreu to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 44 minutes, Daniel Sousa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Landim FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Sousa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Forneiros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Moura came free, but Eusébio Guarda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Ferreira hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. If Daniel Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manuel Moura made a kick off. Manuel Moura might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eusébio Guarda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Manuel Moura ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Forneiros FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Carlos Guarda hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Manuel Moura kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eusébio Guarda. That made the score 0-1 in the 65 minute of play. In the 69th minute of the match Mariano Branco sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jaime Neto skillfully saved the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Alexandre Borges notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Landim FC's Jaime Neto. Jaime Neto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Armando Coimbra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Landim FC's Tiago Silva got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Landim FC's Jaime Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Borges in the 89th minute of play. Armando Coimbra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Landim FC's Manuel Moura got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Forneiros FC's Eusébio Guarda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Forneiros FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Moura in the 94th minute of play forced Forneiros FC's goalkeeper Eusébio Guarda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
