Paulo Gonçalves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Daniel Sousa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Landim FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Sousa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Gonçalves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 23rd minute, Manuel Moura made a precise shot to the right of Paulo Gonçalves. Bebedouro FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Paulo Gonçalves successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Basílio Pacheco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Neto having to interfere. Manuel Moura struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Paulo Gonçalves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Landim FC. 34 minutes into the match, Bebedouro FC's goalkeeper Paulo Gonçalves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Sousa. Gaspar Pinto hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Manuel Moura to make the kick off. If Daniel Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Basílio Pacheco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Neto having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 66 minutes, Jaime Neto successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Moura in the 67th minute of play forced Bebedouro FC's goalkeeper Paulo Gonçalves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo Gonçalves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th match minute, Bebedouro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lourenço Torres to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Landim FC's Mariano Brás tried to score from far away in the 75th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Landim FC's Manuel Moura in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of Bebedouro FC booed when Landim FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oliveira Viegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Francisco Borba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Neto having to interfere. Bebedouro FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
