But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filipe Delgado couldn't finish the play. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Raminho's goalkeeper Eduardo Macedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Avantos FC's goalkeeper Gonçalo Coelho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Filipe Delgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonçalo Coelho having to interfere. Vicente Monteiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Filipe Delgado came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the SC Raminho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filipe Delgado couldn't finish the play. In the 29th match minute, SC Raminho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Monteiro to maneuver through the defense. When Avantos FC's Abel Assis in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Raminho's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Avantos FC's zone, Filipe Delgado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gonçalo Coelho came out of the goal and Filipe Delgado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eduardo Macedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Assis, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 49th minute of the match Raul Assis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gonçalo Coelho showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Gonçalo Coelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filipe Delgado, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Vicente Monteiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonçalo Coelho having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vicente Monteiro in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gonçalo Coelho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Filipe Delgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 65th minute, SC Raminho's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Afonso Guerreiro fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 65 minutes into the match, SC Raminho's goalkeeper Eduardo Macedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Afonso Guerreiro. After a rather tough play, SC Raminho's Cristiano Sá got a free kick in the 65th minute. Abel Assis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Eduardo Macedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Afonso Guerreiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodrigo Lopes hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Eduardo Macedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Assis, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Afonso Guerreiro got free with Eduardo Macedo in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 84 minutes into the game, André Nogueira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Avantos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Raminho the free kick. André Nogueira kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. If Filipe Delgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Avantos FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
