Vítor Barros came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by SC Samarao's Afonso Monteiro. But to his dismay, Afonso Monteiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In a very dangerous position, a player in SC Samarao fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 36th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Daniel Santos, was totally fooled by SC Terrafeita's Miguel Coelho, who 37 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Henrique Morais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Daniel Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Afonso Monteiro was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 53rd minute. SC Samarao's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 60th minute, Jacinto Cabral ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vítor Barros was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After a rather tough play, SC Samarao's Vasco Ramos got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 72nd minute, António Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 76 minutes of play, SC Terrafeita's Tiago Ramos made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel Santos was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in SC Terrafeita's zone, Afonso Monteiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vítor Barros came out of the goal and Afonso Monteiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vítor Barros was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Afonso Monteiro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 82 minute of play. Afonso Monteiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vítor Barros having to interfere. If Tiago Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
