Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alexandre Neves got the match started through his kick off. Ramalhao FC's Pedro Miranda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Ramalhao FC from getting a goal against them. António Resende hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Armindo Morais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armindo Morais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Pedro Miranda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19thth minute of the game Alexandre Neves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cainha FC's Pedro Dantas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Hélder Lima fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cainha FC's protests and gave Hélder Lima a yellow card for diving instead. Ramalhao FC's Pedro Miranda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Gueifão in the 36th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ramalhao FC's zone, Bernardo Gueifão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Miranda came out of the goal and Bernardo Gueifão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Afonso Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel Esteves charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Miguel Esteves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 49 minutes into the match, Ramalhao FC's David Lima broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Armindo Morais stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alexandre Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Dantas having to interfere. When António Resende fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ramalhao FC's protests and gave António Resende a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st minute, António Resende hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Miranda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armindo Morais in the 70th minute of play. Afonso Cabral struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Pedro Miranda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cainha FC. Pedro Dantas was a little too slow when Alexandre Neves got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 0-2. When Afonso Cabral came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Cainha FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Afonso Cabral couldn't finish the play. Pedro Miranda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armindo Morais, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Miranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonso Cabral, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The Ramalhao FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
